GoodLight Glass Votive Candle
Description
Small votive candles can change the way you feel about the space you are in. Clean-burning wax, a calm flame and beautiful ambiance can be found in every votive you buy.
Materials
All GoodLight candles are paraffin-free and made with 100% non-GMO plant-based palm wax.
They only use pure cotton wicks containing no lead filaments (or any other filaments, for that matter).
Their scented candles are scented with blends of pure essential and botanical oils, extracted from plants by cold-pressing, steam and/or vacuum distillation. They are 100% plant-based and contain no phthalates, synthetic fragrances, or chemicals.
Their retail packaging is printed on recycled & recyclable paper with veggie-based inks.
You can recycle the aluminum tea light cups.
The plastic film covering the die cut window of the scented tea lights is plant-based, not petroleum-based.
If you live in an area where municipal composting is an offered service, you can compost any leftover wax (just make sure to remove the wick clip if there is one).

Why We Love It
Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil: When you buy GoodLight, you contribute to the sustainable palm oil movement. GoodLight partners with WildAsia.org to support small RSPO-certified farmers, paying them a premium for the sustainable harvests.
Orangutan Land Trust: When you buy GoodLight, you contribute to the Orangutan Land Trust. A portion of GoodLight's sales supports the OLT's stewardship of the endangered wildlife and rainforests of Southeast Asia.
Carbonfund: GoodLight plants trees each year to offset the carbon emissions from our office, travel, and all transportation required to deliver GoodLight to our customers.
1% For the Planet: GoodLight is proud to be a contributing member of 1% For The Planet, a U.S. non-profit started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Matthews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, that oversees the distribution of millions of dollars to other approved non-profit organizations around the world. Since our first year in business, GoodLight has donated 1% of all of our annual gross sales—not just the profits—to organizations combating global warming and climate change, namely the Orangutan Land Trust and Carbonfund.org.
